Nate is a founding partner of MOTT ZEZULA.  He is a commercial litigator who has tried and litigated cases in federal and state courts across the country.  He has extensive experience litigating FINRA matters, both in FINRA dispute resolution and in regulatory/disciplinary actions.  His practice includes breach of contract claims, unfair trade practice claims, disputes arising from the sale of businesses, non-compete claims, real estate disputes and trade secret misappropriation claims, as well as fraud and breach of fiduciary duty claims.  Nate has also repeatedly secured pre-judgment relief to protect the interests and assets of his clients, including temporary injunctions and restraining orders.

 

Nate is admitted to practice in Connecticut and New York, as well as before the United States District Courts for the District of Connecticut and the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.  After law school Nate clerked for the Honorable George A. Yanthis, Magistrate Judge, United States District Court, S.D.N.Y. Prior to embarking on his legal career, Nate spent four years on active duty as an artillery officer in the United States Army in Germany and Kosovo, leaving with the rank of Captain.


Nate has been named a "Super Lawyer" by Connecticut Super Lawyers from 2019 to the present and was named a "Rising Star" from 2012-2017.

 

He received his B.A. from Tulane University and graduated magna cum laude from Pace Law School, where he was managing editor of the PACE LAW REVIEW.
